Here are two G13 Auto Pineapple Express plants in 100% perlite 5 gallon hempy buckets under 400w light. Started with MH now on HPS.
This is day 41 give or take a day.
The seedling root curled around one seed and as a result part of it was exposed to light when starting. I think it caused it too create two main stems. That's not a bad thing but surprised me.
Anyway because these were autos I LST'd them.
I've read they are usually finished in 70 or so days. If that's the case then I might have a nice yield for autos.
I've grown bag-seed a few times outside but this is my first serious grow and first indoor grow. By "serious grow" I mean; purchased seeds, lights, hydro nutes, meters, etc. and tons of reading to have a bit of an idea what I'm doing. I started feeding at about day 19 and have been on Lucas Formula the whole time. I know it's been said not to use LF on hempy grows but I've seen some fairly good results and it's easy so what the heck... I think it's turning out alright. I haven't even been checking ph the last ten days as the nutes seem to bring my ph into range although I did lower a bit when I first started. I'm using RO water. About the third time I fed I got a bit aggressive and upped too quickly and burned them a bit. Scared me but within a couple of days they were back on track.
I'm kinda wondering what, if anything, to do now. I've pretty much stopped LST 'cause I'm running out of room and the plants are plenty bushy as you can see. The last few days I've just been doing some leaf tucking.
My concern is maybe they're too bushy in some areas and I might need to trim a bit and/or take off all the tie-downs (pipe cleaners). Don't know if removing the tie-downs would really make a difference but I've seen how folks who SCROG trim under the screen and was wondering if I should do something like that or just let them grow as they are? Thinking I should just let 'em grow but would hate to do or not do something at this stage that would cause the buds to not be as large as they could be.
For you guys with auto grows under your belt. Do these look like they have 29 days left? Hope so.
Sorry about the quality of pics... phone camera.
