Sorry for the poor quality photo, but can a gender of this plant be determined from the photo I have attached?

I am blind in one eye and can't see out the other 
So I am seeing nothing here. Instead of getting so much of the top in the photo, shoot it from the side. So we can see where the nodes connect to the stem. Shoot the node below the new growth. Right in the crook of the leaves you should see small hairs (pistils), you may need a magnifying glass to see em at first. Or you will see lumpy round growth. Like lil teeny brussell sprouts...LOL Sorry, that's no laughing matter
