Okay, so I've been asking a few of my other grower friends about this and no one seems to have a good answer to it. I'm hoping the wider community may have had similar problems or know what's going on.
I've ordered several different strains from several different seed breeders and I've never had anything turn out to be what it seems like it should be. I've grown several cannabis cup winners and other strains that are supposed to be the shiznit and though they're pretty damn good, they're not blow your mind awesome like they should be. Now, I've had good weed before, and I know what awesome weed should feel like, and I keep spending money on seeds hoping to get that and it never pans out. I'm a 3rd generation grower that's been growing for about 15 years, I've read just about every book on growing I can find and been through countless forums. I know I'm doing it right (ie harvesting on time, properly curing).
So what's the problem? Is there some secret I'm not privy too or do the seeds we buy not necessarily turn out like they should.
Here's what's been on the menu the past few years
Tangerine Dream
Blue Mystic
Ice
La Blanca
Ironically the one that's supposed to be the best (Tangerine Dream) turned out worse than all the others.
I also grow LowRyder 2 and Pandora
Everyone tends to prefer the LR2 to any of the others.
