General Rules About Light Cycles During Flowering Period?? (help)

Hi i'm growing super silver haze. My last grow was 12/12 cycle, however I'm thinking maybe that was a bad idea.

I was reading up online different places and they were saying the light is damaging to the THC and turns the hairs brown fast.

When do the buds actually grow? I heard that they actually grow during the night period?

What do you guys recommend? I was thinking maybe a 10 light 14 dark?

Thanks

I think the information your getting from other sites is wrong, stay on this one. Indoors, anything below 13-14 hours of light per day will trigger flowering. 10/14 would still work fine, But alot of people swear by 12/12, it still induces flowering, And that extra 2 hours of light will just mean more light and energy for the plant. Light is apparently bad for marijuana bud once its begun drying, so Ive heard, And also in storage, dark areas are better. But hairs do not start turning brown, red or amber until the marijuana buds start to become ripe and light is not responsible for changing of the hairs unless your burning them lol. Hope that helps.:leaf:
