Germinated in Rapid Rooters - When To Move To Light?

I germinated 12 seeds in rapid rooters. I soaked the plugs, put one seed in each plug hole, put a dome over them, put them on a heat mat, and covered the dome with a towel so they were in complete darkness. These are the direction as per GH and I got 100% to germinate within the past 30 hours.

I'm confused though about what to do next. The rapid rooters have an open hole, so unlike soil you can everything that's going on in the hole. A few have sprouted and are carrying half of their seed, so that they would be above the soil line if I had planted them in 4" pots. These ones still have a white sprout, none have turned green yet (only 48 hours since I planted the seed. A few others are orienting themselves, and would still be below the soil line.

My questions is: is it best to leave them in the dark for a few more days? At what point should I put them under soft light? My assumption is that as long as the roots are still white, they are best left in their dark damp home. Does that sound right??

Hi there when you germinate in cubes etc pull a little piece of the corner and put over seed in hole.i would just leave them now to do there own thing with a light on.

I ended up moving them under the t12's and ditched the heat mat. Seems like the right call, they are starting to straighten up and a few have dropped the seed husk. Pretty impressed with the 100% germination with the rapid rooters, pretty fool proof way to start seeds. Hopefully they develop some good roots over the next week or so, next stop 1G square pots.
