Germinating using a cup of water

i never had good luck with the paper towels. i started tossing the beans in a cup of water with 1tbsp of peroxide and have had 100% germ rate since. they are popped and able to put in plugs in 24-36 hrs

Anyone else tried this? If he is right this method seems to work better.

I do a hybrid. I soak seeds but only for 12-18 hrs. Then I move them to paper towels. If the seeds aren't dud either method (done right) will germ them. Older seeds usually take longer.

I've never had issues with paper towels. It just doesn't seem like it would work, but you could try it. I wouldn't leave them submerged for the entire time. Soaking them, and then going to towels is a good method.
