Germinating!!

Ok, so in the past week i germinated about 7 seeds. all was good right, two days i had tap roots, well i didnt think they were big enough yet so i let them go but they never got any bigger. soo what should i have done? what i did is plant them after 5 days. nothing has grown. well one has but doesnt look too good. ive tossed the other plants for i believe i drowned them but not sure. now just a question. what would you say is the best way to germinate seeds? i was using the paper towel with the baggy method.. oh and the first grow i did is doing fine... germ was find... plants are flowering... dunno what i fucked up this time but its not working lol

The best all round way to germinate seeds? In soil, two seeds deep, just like nature's been doing for aeons (or 6000 years for the fundamentalists! lol!)....

probably just bad seeds.

I use the wet paper towel method also ,

You might have just had some bad seeds or drowned them

I put the wet paper towel on a paper plate and stick in a zip lock bag and put in my dresser ( dark )

I do not fold the paper towel over the seeds though , i just set them on top

All my seeds sprout that way , it is very rare that i come across one that does not sprout

All these seeds sprouted , this one just happen to sprout faster then the others but all cracked within 3 to 4 days

There wet paper towel method is my favorite way to germinate and it virtually always leads to cracked seeds whenever I go that route.

well that sux if i got bad seeds.... i paid like 100 bucks from the tude for em and they sprouted but just stopped growing...

same thing just happened to me after I bought seeds from attitude, I used the exact same method I always do and I hade all 10 seeds sprout, but none grew after I put them in soil. I put them in water to germ them, and they cracked in 12 hours, i waited for the root to lengthen but it never got more then a couple millimetres. after 2 and a half days I planted in soil and of course nothing happened. I bought feminized autoflowering afghan kush ryder, the only seeds that worked were the freebies i got from the order >.< so frustrating
