germination in water question

when germinating in water if the plant hatches out of the seed and sink to the bottom is it still good or a dud

after soaking seeds for 24-36 hrs move them into damp paper towel, or plant them in the soil already

Yeah, I leave them in water until they crack, then move them directly into whatever I'm growing in.

awesome i would move them right into the rockwool but i didnt think theyd be done already so im waiting for the rockwool to absorb the 5.5 ph and then ill plant them is it ok to plant if they still have the seed attached or should i wait til it pops out, only 1 of 4 popped completly out of the seed, the rest are all about as big but not out of the shell yet

I would plant before they come out of the seed. It's all good either way. I don't like when they have long taproots when I transplant.
