Germination Problems

This is my first grow, and it's gotten off to a bad start! I got 10 WW seeds from Nirvana that included 20 free seeds of whatever. I've tried to germinate 8 of the bs seeds and 2 of the WW. I'm using the papertowel method and transplanting the sprouts to rockwool cubes that have been soaked in PH adjusted water for 24hrs prior. I dry out the cubes before transplanting the kids but made sure to dampen the cubes with ph adjusted water prior to transplanting. Most all took off \ to about a 3/4 inch developed first two nodes started to develop the secound set then all just stopped growing! Some got to the point were it sheds its seed and froze. NOTHING i waited a two days to determine they are dead. I'm using a heating pad along with a humidity dome under one cool blue flo light and one aquirum redish flo light both 40w. Could it be that i kept my rockwool to damp and drowned the plants? PLEASE HELP

try not watering too much. rockwool cubes retain much water so try misting it and not directly wetting it. as for the lights, if you want fast veg go with some 6500k daylight cfl's go to target or walmart and lick up 2 for about $10. keep them close. plus. can you post some pics. that helps alot on riu. happy growing.

if your stem is purple you need to feed them nutes @ 1/4 stregth of what the lable says for week 1 or normal dosage, growth should start up again, also start the 18/6 cycle

don't start week one until you have gotten to week 1 full strength nutes, use daylight bulbs, a few inches from top of the seedling, remove heating pad. When watering use warm water and only water twice a day

DO this first thing in the morning, so they have a whole day to adjust to the nutes

Ditch the humidity dome too. You should have removed it when the germinated seeds sprouted out of the rockwool.
