Paper towel method works for me. Just have to make sure you don't let the paper dry, and keep them in the warmest place you can find.

put seed in medium (soil, rock-wool, peat plug, etc) with pointy end down......apply water..... place in dark warm environment.......wait until it sprouts......place under light source

easy and effective

I had a seed pop in one day by soaking it in warm water until the seed sank, I checked up on it every few hours and poked it to see if it would sink if it was still floating. Then once it sank I put in in between 4 paper towels folded and damped on each side of the seed and put those in between 2 plates. The next day I had tap root. You should probably use a germination mat but I just used a heating pad on low with a bunch of layers of towel between the pad and the plates/soaking bowl, just check on it and make sure it doesn't get hot just a little warm. I did the same thing with other seeds without a heating mat and it took a few days so I don't know if the second one popping in one day was due to the heating mat or just a really good seed.

place seeds in room temp tap water in warm dark place for 24-48 hrs untill tap root pops. then place tap root down in seed starter plug and in humidome w/o any lights. wait for sprout to pop up, then add lights. i use 2-4' t8 6500k bulbs. leave on for 24/7. i used a heat mat also as im growing in my basement and its 65* ambient temps.
