Getting rid of the smell...

Could I use a carbon air purifier to get rid of the smell? For example a HoneyWell air-genius 5? I am on a tight budget, and already own the carbon air purifier.

It might work for a micro grow. I took mine apart and stuffed the filter with activated carbon from the pet store ( Aquarium supply). It works fine in my veg cab, but never tried it for flower. They move a lot of air which makes them a great replacement for a vortex fan, but I'm not sure about their performance when it comes to flowering.

There's a DIY filter in the DIY section that consists of a Honeywell fan, 5 gallon bucket,a piece of mesh screen and carbon.
It works perfectly.
Built one and it handled 16 girls @ once on the low setting through flower. I'm not sure about your numbers situation is but if it'll kill that then it'll probably do the trick in your situation.
I had the screen, glue and bucket on hand so with the carbon and fan it ran about 25$ total. It adds some airflow too!
If I had the box still I'd snag the item sku.
There's 3 fans of that model. There's a large (looks like it'll fit into the bucket but won't)
Medium and small.
The medium one is the one you're going to want. It has about a 12 inch radius.

No stank = no dank. bongsmilie
There's different terpes that produce different smells. It doesn't have to be a skunky fuel dank or a kush smell the person can get more of a exotic hybrid that produces more fruity smells that has a ton of trichs that's dank that won't stink as much and the the people you d point want smelling might pass it off as something else rather then weed.

You can always make your own carbon filter using activated carbon from a fish store (they use it as a filter medium for fish tanks). Cheapest option.

I am going to attempt to make one myself.
@MonkeyGrinder: I was not able to find those plans, is it possible to link them?

Thanks in advance, and thank you all for the input!

You can get a decent 6" filter and fan combo for like 160 bucks, don't waste your time. I used to rebuild my filters, but it just isn't worth it. $35 for a 5lb. bag of carbon and then the time spent taking them apart and putting them back together. Fuck that. The Ipower brand filters work well and a 6" is like $70 or less. My time is worth more than that.
