Getting the most out of plants

What 'special care' would I have to give my outdoor plants to yield a pound?

i would say treat it like it is an indoor plant i mean it is a bit late in the year for an outdoor grow but pruning off the lower leaves and flowers that dont get enough sunlight so the plant can focus on the upper parts

also use molasses or some other carbohydrate nute to help give you more dense buds

what about carbo load? And this is for next years grow
