would this work?

u get some spray bottles with a straw that goes into the bottom of ur
"resovior"

every 5 minutes a timed hydraulic system that sprays 4 2-3 minutes straight (because these "sprinklers" don't spray as fast as a more efficient aero systems, they have 2 go longer
and they don't spary 4 5 minutes, and when the roots DO go into the resovior, would this be OK or would it cause rot? i've heard of other systems that have it's roots sit in the water at some point time or was i misinformed

if it does work ths shuld not cost more than $30 bucks 4 a small one

comments r appreciated we are tryin 2 see if this works:bigjoint:

You're reinventing the wheel.

How about you just dangle roots over a res with an air stone in it? The level in the res should be low enough that the roots do not touch the water. The air bubbles breaking the surface will make a finer mist than you can make by pumping water through a small aperture and will do so without clogging.

Aquarium air pumps and air stones are cheap as chips.

Reliability is paramount in any watering system. I think an air pump and an airstonew ill give you that' I'm not so sure about how reliable the system you suggest may be.

I can tell you this much, you're going to need an airstone in the res if you let roots dangle into it anyway. May as well let it water your plants.
