So this is the last seed i had of 10, ive had really bad luck with these seeds. 4 were males, 3 didnt pop, 1 hermied, 1 female but i havent flowered it yet, and this last seedling. Im hoping this is a female and to at least get one good mother of the 10 seeds. Wish me luck

yeah, im about to transplant in a few days. I just watered it so im waiting for it to dry out a touch.ill use some great white around the root ball and water with a compost tea.im preparing the bigger pot tommorrow and brewing the tea for 12 hrs before the transplant.

Is that a clear cup you are rooting in? Probably not a good idea. Roots don’t like light. Can cause all sorts of problems.

yeah, it is. It was all i had at the moment but this plant wont be in there very much longer.i try to get solo cups if possible.

Im all about saving money and making little mcgyver projects, so i built this diy mini compost tea brewer. it will make 1 gallon of compost tea. I will be using this to start when i dont need to make a lot of tea. It has a bubbler tube in the bottom and a tube that will bubble inside the tea bag. I have a double outlet air pump that ill hook up each line to its seperate bubbler.

I made some improvements to the tea brewer, added a splashgaurd and a lid. I bought a mesh paint strainer bag from the hardware store and some velcro ties. I used 1c compost, 1c worm castings, 2 tsp molasses,2tsp diamond black,1tsp seaplex.tied up the bag around the bubble tube and set it in the veg room. Ill let it brew for 12 hrs or so and then use it when i transplant. I buried a cup the same size as the one the plant is in, so it will fit right in the hole.

The brew went well and it got all nice and frothy after 12hrs. I transplanted it into a bigger pot and watered with the tea. Its doing really good.

One problem i did run into after the brew was that the tube in the bottom filled up with tea and wouldnt drain out. It was glued to the bottom but i ripped it out and took it apart to clean it. Ill probably put some kind of weight to hold it to the bottom

Help! somethings going wrong. Its drooping bigtime and looks like nitrogen deficiency setting in on the lower leaves. The soil is staying super wet, i havent watered AT ALL because is so moist still. Maybe my soil is going anerobic? What do i do? Thinking of getting a heat mat and trying to dry the soil out a little what do you guys think?

Never seen a plant stress from topping in 15 years growing.

ive never had a plant have any problems from topping either. Its got to be my soil too wet. Not sure what to do about it though.

im thinking of just transplanting into a bigger pot with a shit ton of perlite and vermiculite in it and not watering it.

so this is the first time im using this emerald mountain soil, but its just like fox farm ocean forest. Its got a lot of peat and some wood chips in it and for my veg set up it stays too waterlogged. So i got this bucket and drilled a bunch of holes in it and ill be mixing up a light fluffy batch of soil with some worm castings and a tiny bit of happy frog. Ill water lightly with r.o. water 6.8 ph .Hopefully this plant perks up a bit.

everything ive seen to dry out soil has said to amend the soil, add lime or other organic meterial to aerate it. This soil holds so much water its crazy. So i added a bunch of vermiculite and perlite and transplanted into this bigger pot. I tried not to disturb the soil as much as possible but i did use a knife and aerated a little bit. Seems like its draining well so we'll see what happens.
