Recommend lighting 4x600 or 4x1000.. inclined to go the 1000's, overkill? Not worried about cost so the best fans, cool tubes, portable A/C ect, ect are on the cards. Also.. depending on what light used how many plants should go under each light respectively, and as I'm new to the game what are your thoughts on which growing system to use

That's only 45w/sf def not overkill..As far as plant numbers.. that's up to u or ur limitations U could fill up 2 4x8 flood tray(256 in 6" cubes) with a SoG or fewer plants in the trays and run SCRoG. 8,10,12..etc. site undercurrent system. There's so many options man especially in hydro with all the different systems.

1000's it is! Don't think I could handle a sog that big.. not just yet anyway, 8 plant scrog sounds like a good direction I'll put some hrs in on research. In your opinion are the under current systems the go for that method or its just your preference? Cheers mate for the advice

I don't have any firsthand exp. With the undercurrent or scrog but lots of interesting and informative threads with them.and different variations of the UC/RDWC systems. Looks like they're damn good @ growin plants big..fast when properly maintained! Plenty of DIY's if ur handy, the systems aren't cheap! All systems have their downfalls and it seems like root rot is a big issue with those kind of systems so ull have to monitor ur nutrient temps closely!

The plan is formulated! 4 plants per light running under current system, with a chiller.. maybe scrog them?? can't wait!! In process of finding a suitable premises and its on. Gives me time to research anyway, and save a bit more for the UC system they really aren't cheap! My budget was $5500, have to find another g at least.. If you are reading this and have used a homemade UC system what are your thoughts, are they comparable to the $1,000,000 store bought alternative.. or should I just fork out the extra$...
