Hello and thank you for opening my thread.
Let me first say that my problem is solemnly a problem because of my lack of experience. For the last little while I have been doing DWC with good results nothing fanflippintastic, but 2 ounces a plant suited me just fine.
Now, I wanted to try a soil grow and I am PAYING FOR IT. This little devil has been giving me a hard time since the day she popped. I have a problem, I deal with it, she gets better, than poof another problem. Each time she gets sick she halts her growth throws a tantrum via her leaves and gives me grief till it is addressed. Then recovers grows a little more and then the process repeats. "Destiny" (plant) is only four inches tall and about 4 and a half weeks old. She is struggling and I am getting frustrated.
At first not knowing much about soil, figuring soil is soil. I went to the store and purchased scott's garden soil premium. Went home "la de da" planted my germinated seed it sprouted was doing good for like 5-7 days then started to die. After looking online and talking with some people I was informed that scott's soil was a cousin company of miracle grow and that I just fried my seedling. So I immediately removed the plant from the 6" pot it was in and put the roots in a cup of distilled water which was aerated with a couple aquarium pumps for some time hoping to clear out any hazardous build up. Trans-planted destiny into new organic soil (REAL garden soil/compost) crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.
Well she recovered with flying colors turned lush green besides the necrosis (which I later removed as 50% of the leaf had deceased) and silk soft leaves. That lasted a couple of weeks and now she has started to show signs of what I believe is deficiency, It cannot be hot soil because her tips remain fine there is no dying of the leaves. Instead her leaves (primarily lower older growth) has turned rough and almost leather, Yellowing webbed through the lower leaves although, the veins of the leaf remain green. Now I am not ignorant as I know there are places to research what deficiency I may be dealing with. I have attempted to do just that my only problem is that every (ok most) deficiency resemble similar symptoms during early stages and I keep second guess my hypothesis.
I was thinking it could be a ZINC deficiency, as the leaves are sort of webbed yellowing and affected leaf is rough and lost its luster. Or I am thinking a Magnesium deficiency as the yellow looks similar on some diagrams as well as it may be nitrogen because of its lightening in color. But I just cannot be certain enough to make a decision and alter my soil's nutrient composition.

TOP VIEW^^^^ The new growth although not lush green is coming along at a normal disposition (minus the trio-cotlydoneous phenotype).

SIDE VIEW^^^^ Notice the transition between Old growth and medium growth. Assume the new growth looked better exponentially linear to the the two leaves in the image you can see the plant taking this missing nutrients from old growth to supplement new growth.

Affected Area ^^^^ Here you can visibly see the yellow webbing with the green veins (Picture 1). The leaf in that images physically feels thicker, rougher, and more rigid than the medium or new growth. Losing rigidity as the leaf lowers in age. Also there seems to be yellowing and light downward curling on some of the edges of medium aged growth. (picture 2), you can see a good profile and transition between age and damage.
My Closet stays steady at 80f I am using a 300w led Flower/ veg panel. Humidity actually quite dry 40% (tried to resolve that issue but highest I can get the humidity to rise is to about 50-60 percent. My closet is just dry!
As for sustenance,
With all this information What do you think is my problem (deficiency), and how I might resolve my issue. Please put in consideration if possible that I would Like to complete this grow "organically" using natural fertilizing process. This was an experiment for me to compare the ease of soil growth vs. hydroponics and so far "DWC" has been a walk in the park compared to this... DWC, one month out 14" plant = Soil, one month 4" plant jeez..
Thank you for your time; tell me what you think.

As for sustenance,
- the plant has been fed straight tap water which is Ph'd to 6.7 - 7 depending on the day.
- Was given one dose (as per directed on the label) of "Liquid Karma" at the first sign of deficiency I figured liquid karma being a supplement and not an actual fertilizer would be mild enough to feed to my plant and not have to worry about nutrient burn again. That did little or nothing. (maybe slowed down the progression of the deficiency)?
- I then did research and found out that aquarium water is beneficial to plant growth because of the population of microbes which break down fish waste and excess food. They turn these excrement into a wide range micro nutrients contain N-P-K and other trace elements. As well as add cultures to your soil.
- That being said I decided to dilute the water 50% aquarium water to 50% tap water and feed my plant. That was two days ago and I haven't seen a significant change positive or negative.
