Good Indoor Grow Box Crops for Las Vegas vs Outdoor?

When I was living in oregon, i bought a Supercloset Superbox, I've been able to pull about 1-2oz per harvest when I was growing weed. It has a 200w CFL, and I can fit like 6x4" pots or so inside, growing upto about 1.5' tall plants. I'm not so concerned about if my plants will be rootbound, because despite what others have said about weed, i was growing them very nicely despite being rootbound.

My father-in-law says his parents grow outdoors things like tomato, grapes, etc. I have the option of growing these things myself outside, but I'm trying to think of something I can grow that would definitely benefit from my box, and yet legal (since we don't have our NV MMJ card).

I know las vegas can get really hot in the summer, and the box is located in our garage, which stays a bit cooler than outside. Not to mention very low humidity.

i cool weather crops will do better indoors in cooler situations, not all of them though, things like lettuce, arugula, chard, maybe garlic, any type of sprouts.
i do think that outdoor growing sure beats indoor for veggies

very cool, so maybe some other herbs as well such as basil? I suppose by sprouts you probably also can include wheat grass? I'm just thinking that most of those don't really sound like the cost-production trade off is really worth it, or maybe it is. I thought maybe tomatoes might grow better in the box perhaps?

Here are some fast turn over crops

Lettuce = 30 Days to 45 Days
Strawberries

Herbs
- Mint (There are alot of different kinds)
- Basil
- Lemon Grass
- Lemon Balm



The best thing about herb plants that you can propergate/clone is that you can clone them in mass amount and sell them for $2 to $4 each. If you have a 80 site Aero Cloner you can produce around $160 to $320 just from rooted cuttings alone every 2 weeks to 1 month.

I find herbs tend to grow alot faster in hydro. Also remember not to plant more then 1 kind of mint in a single tub or bucket because when the roots mix the flavor of them aren't the same any more.

yes wheat grass can be grown im sure, along with almost any type of sprout, they all tend to taste the same as sprouts.
i think your toms would do better in the heat though
