Where can I get a light that is cheap at that will work?

Is there a certain kind you can buy at a big store?

i spent 339 dollors for a 400watt switchable ballast hps/mh plus it came with both lights and hood cord every thing you need at specialty lights.com

I got lucky at a pawn shop. 400w HPS, and a 1000w HPS for $500 and a bump.

go to HTGsupply for your light you get a switchable 400watt light with reflector & both bulbs for $160 out the door

try craiglist.org or ebay. You can get a 400 watt hps at High Tech Garden Supply for 137.00 including shipping, that's about as cheap as I've seen one. You could always do a cfl grow.

man i saw some HPS and metal halide bulbs at lowes but the i couldnt get a sales rep to help me find out about a ballast or any shit like that but i think you can get the whole setup there.
