good slime?

Ive been experimenting in my head with the idea of microbes lately, until yesterday, I found a michorizea/rhizo packet laying there, so I just wanted to see what would happen...

I don't think it was a good idea. I have some clear snot forming on my roots ATM, can't be good..?

Ive heard it will clear leaving massive white roots, don't touch it unless its brown or smells.

Now I wish I hadn't tried....

I'll admit, I'm not educated enough at all and feel quite uncomfortable with this.

Let's just say experiment gone bad, either way I think I'm gonna clean the res out very soon and repenish unless I hear back from someone...

Is that normal though? I guessing there attempt to colonize the roots? Or is it all bad?

Some pics could be helpful. If it's a thick layer sticky stuff that elgulfs your roots, it's probably bad. If it's thin biofilm or is easily washed away, you're probably OK.

No smell tho, maybe a little earthy but definitely not fishy. What worries me is they seem brittle now? But I have noticed extra length already.. I've been having pH flux from 5.9 to 7.2, which is another reason I decided to try it, it's helping with that too, but is the snot normal? Also they look soggy because of it?

Well, some benneficial microorganisms do make biofilms, so everything could be just fine. Specially if you are seing things grow. plants that are suffering from root rot usually stagnate.

I'm a bennie fan, so I'd keep going and see what happens.
