Good to harvest in 2 weeks ?....opinions needed.

One thing I have learned is to use the breeders flowering estimates as just a loose guideline for when to harvest. In my case I have one LA Choc female @ day 60 of 12/12. She was showing pre flowers a day or so before the flip. The other female in this grow is a White Widow. Also @ day 60 of 12/12. For practical reasons I have to end this whole grow at the latest of 2 weeks from now. That would be @ day 74 or so of 12/12. I know that from prior grows flowering plants really do go into bud swelling overdrive in the last 2-3 weeks. Just looking at the WW in particular, I know she will need all of the final 14 days to show a good level of bud maturity. The LA Choc will probably need that same time frame to start work on the top cola. Many white hairs still and no receding pistils as of today. So what do yall think?. Will two weeks do it.

those look real nice! you're on day 60 so it's going to be just fine no matter what you do. what does the breeder say for those two strains? the first one looks a little young. the WW looks close. i just grew a dinafem white widow that was supposed to be done at day 55 and i let it go another few days but i'm sure i could have chopped her down at day 55.

The first one is the LA Choc. She is a 5.5 ft plant following in her OG Choc Thai mothers footsteps. As for the widow, I am amazed at under 600w that she is not bulking up more. Although it has to be said that present bud formation is rock solid. I can feel their density by moving a lower branch to see how the fruit is weighing . It suck in ways that she has only a few buds overall. This plant took some abuse early on. I mean physical abuse from falling books I had stored overhead in the closet. One morning I came down to find her almost crushed by some heavy tomes from the top shelf. New neighbors upstairs and their rearranging must have caused the books to fall . So I will keep any eye on how they both do. Again , if they can both finish by day 74 of 12/12 , it will be a LA Choc/ White Widow fattie and lights out .

I'm with TPG, what do the trichs look like? Most of the pics look like anywhere from now, to 2 weeks or more, from now. While the buds are nice and frosty (they look fukin' great!), they still look a bit too full of life to me.

I hear you guys on the buds looking a bit too lively now. What the heck is the matter with the LA Choc?. That top cola looks like it could on for weeks. One thing is that it never seems to show any sign of red hairs at all. Even the pic on the DNA website has some red tinge to it. Did I just get an extreme sat pheno ?. If so , more like 3 weeks at the very least. ...... Some of the bottom buds are finally looking like they are mature . Just an odd white hair here and there and full swollen buds . The widow will probably finish before the LA Choc...........................One last thing guys, can we be certain the top cola on the LA Choc will ever mature?. It is quite tall at 5.5 ft , so the height might take longer for the top portion to mature fully ?.................btw , the White Widow is one of the prettiest plants I have ever grown . She is small but sweet looking buds on her. First time with White label , so interesting to compare with Female Seeds and Bulldog for their WW in the past..............I will keep everybody posted on how things are going ......cheers rollers
