I’ve grown “GG4” a couple times. Always that gassy pine taste. My buddy has had the cut forever. Meet him over Xbox (Seriously). Known him for 8-9 years. I’ll post a pic of his GG4 after I pull up his IG. Anyways he’s out in FL and I finally got ahold of some of his bud. All they grow is the GG4. No other strains in their entire grow for over a decade I’d guess. I told him I’ve had serious cuts and people throw good $ offers to him and he has never given a cut of it out. He told me his partner made a promise not to give it out.
I just smoked his GG and I was wondering if anyone has had a verifiable experience with the GG4 cut because this shit tasted like chocolate, like how coco beans smell. It blew my mind. So now I’m thinking either What in the Witchcraft or more likely I’ve never had the real GG4 cut....

Has he shared any pics of his grow with you? The true josey gg4 cut has pretty distinct growing habits I believe. One is the "pinwheeling" of fan leaves.

Sorry, I have not smoked the real deal to compare taste.

Taken to 70 days you'll get straight up chocolate diesel smells from gg4. Closer to 60 and it's mostly diesel.

I've had Joesys cut since winter 2013-14. If it goes 70 days it will have some chocolate along with the piney/skunky but not full on chocolate. I've also done S1s and had one in particular one that I called tootsie since she tasted like a tootsie roll. The rule was and this was straight from Joesy was to give out the clone to everyone for free. I personally handed her over to my local group many times so I did my part lol.

My first time trying gg4 was in denver and i wasnt impressed at all, couldnt see why it got so much hype. Also did a gg4 x tk that didnt impress me while i pretty much loved every tk crossed id done prior. 2 years later i ended up getn the gg4 cut just out of curiosity and dammm its no joke! Smell im getn out of the jar is like a skunky funk with hints of chocolate. No way this is the same cut i smoked in denver

Bud I’ve seen your IG. You grow dank ass bud, and have a great camera eye. Your GG looks bomb! That’s what I’m saying, made me think I’ve never had the real GG4 till now. Had me acting like thurgood with the medi bud.
