got a few ventilation questions.

i'm setting up my first stealthy chestofdrawers-converted-growbox, with a volume of 4.45 cubic feet. although, this doesn't really sound right...
the box is 35 x 60 x 60 cm = 126,000 cm^3
= 4.45 cubic feet

is that right?

anyway, i'm planning on having an exhaust fan positioned near the top of the box to draw the hot air out (through a carbon filter), and another fan lower down to bring in fresh air. so my questions are:

1) what kinda of cfm would be adequate for the exhaust and for the intake?

2) if i buy two of exactly the same kind of fan, one for intake and one for exhaust, will i be able to fit them in, but different ways around, so one draws air in and one sucks it out?

3) can you plug fans into regular wall sockets or will i have to do some wiring? because i have no idea how to do that :-?

also, i really like this light setup:
https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/255577-well-i-built-myself-grow.html
with the lightbulbs plugged straight into plug sockets.

how do people do this?!
i've scoured the internet looking for plug in light sockets, but everything that comes up is on american websites. do british people not need these aswell?!
can't find them at my local lighting store, or b & q of all places.

any help would be much appreciated. :peace:

here in the states you can plug the fan right into the wall sockets. i assume that your fan will be configured for your outlet.
you can use one fan to draw in cool air and to exhaust hot air. no need for two fans.
as for the cfm your fan is going to have to move, that depends on the type of light youre using and how much heat it puts off
