the big eli

hi all. been reading for years. growing even longer, yet I've never posted. So here it is; my question/ statement concerns 10000k color temp light, halide in particular. Yes they use it for finishing, but these type plants (weeds) respond big to a little stress (uv radiation). very little is known/shared on this topic so of coarse im experimenting with vegging with 400w 10000k on top of my 600w sodium. its a big experiment and i have gleened much from these forums in general so i thought i would share. So yea anyways they make led bulbs in this exact color spectrum in big percentages amongst others. with me every grow is experimental in at least a few ways, so thats what i did i put a good percentage of that spectrum in with the reds. Not that big of a deal really ( well some would think so). But really i could not find jack on this topic. many people like myself were asking but everyone that responded said if you find out let me know!! Its an auqarium light yes and the blue is predomenently the good blue not uv. besides all those worrys i just put it in my air cooled hood and pow its filtered and a bunch of the uv is removed by the glass. Questions ? comments? concernes ?
