Got Laid Off Today.

So, I'm told to stay home today thinking its because the boss has been having payroll issues, only to hear the supervisors work truck outside loading tools into the truck. I walk outside to "You got Shit-Canned...... Sorry dude"... and he takes off.

At least it isnt to late to put a few more plants into the ground

That sucks man, me and about 600 other employee's got our walking papers in March of 2009, still can't find a job...

Man I feel ya, my last job got rid of me with no warning, nothing, just one day it happened. Shitty thing is when I put in for unemployment they denied me so now I am waiting for my appeal and hoping my money doesn't run out before then. Hope you have good luck finding your next job.

No doubt finding a job will be a bit of a hassle so i hope UE goes thru for you ..

I've found indeed.com to be extremely useful, I've actually had 3 interviews in the last month and a half through that site.

I start a new job Tuesday and they will pay me $300 a month NOT to take their insurance on top of the $11+ an hour at 40 a week plus 9 holidays that are 2X pay.
But thats after 5 years of crap shit hole $8 an hour jobs.

Keep your nose to the grindstone and stay clean until you can land that good job, they are out there you just have to be hungrier than the next guy.

that sucks dude. happened the same here...no warning, just pulled into a room and "fired". although, if they were serious about it being a firing, they would have picked up the phone and told that to the state when i applied for unemployment.

collect that shit, get high all summer and grow some monsters. there is a silver lining here. close a door open a window bla bla bla

Don't feel too bad. I'm self employed and almost fired myself several times over the last 14 years. Now that's fucked up.
