Got rot need to chop early

Chopping early as the rot just keeps coming back and I'm gonna loose everything gonna make caana butter do you need to dry for 10-14 days to make canna butter or can I nearly dry and then decant ?

I don't think you need to dry much for edibles, 10-14 days isn't very long , but you might get away with less time.
