got some questions

How far should i burry the seed?
How many watts do i need for 1 plant?
Will this work for germanating the seed i cut a peace of a sponge off
took a little bowl put a little water so that about half of the sponge
is in the water then i put the seeds on the top of the sponge
Do i need a fan?
Can i use regular soil?

Read the GROWFAQ on this site man. Too many questions that are asked and answered many times. But to be brief, 1/2" to 1/4" below the soil is fine. The amount of watts you will need depends on what you want your final yield to be. If you're only looking for a small amount you could probably use 100-200W (in the correct spectrum) and get something. Wouldn't use a sponge... use the paper towel method... works every time. Yes you need a fan to regulate temperatures, supply fresh air and allow the plant's stems to be strong. Soil is soil. Just try to get some perlite added into it for aeration and water retention. I guess it depends on what you mean by regular soil....
