Install an arc falt circuit interrupter outlet, if any wires decide to melt and short it will cut power right now. Get a timer and let it do its thing. I run two 600's in a 4x4 room and left on vacation for two weeks. My cousin only watered once cuz hes a lazy Fuck and they survived even though they were needing water pretty bad. That was a room running at 85 - 90 degrees everyday. I think your plants will be ok. Plus it's your mom, Fuck them plants go see your mom!!!!

As your walking up the drive to your moms she spots you and its like...

"Everyone hide the drugs and booze, strippers out the back door, plants in the garage, quick quick my straighead sons here ruining the fun with his startched collars and pleated slacks, damn this guys a real buzzkill!"

And thats why you should have stayed home with your plants, were your new family now dude... :-)

My plan is grow out a few plants then collect clones from best plant(s) just as im about to head over east. turn leds off but leave clones under a cfl.
By the time i get back clones should have roots

If your worried about your drivers burning the house down the AFCI is the way to go. Could be pricey for an electrician unless you know someone to install.

Your call if it is worth the cost and effort to save your girls.

I use screw-in leds, and seem to be working ok, you could pack a bunch of those in there on a timer and turn off your array.

it would be hard to make this happen id just make the trip one week instead of two because you would need to do nutrients as well unless you go bi weekly but still no matter what they need to maintain some kind of light cycle.

That's my backup when I go away in case my veggers die off. I cut my clones about a week before leaving and leave them rooting in my aero cloner. When I got back after a week 1st week of Jan I had these ready to go, my veggers were flipped and my next set of clones were ready to plant/veg.

55 gallon drum of water, submersible pump, drip feeders, and timers for lights and pump. You can get slow drip feeders based on how much you are watering, set pump for that amount of time as often as you usually water. Build it out before you leave, so you can test everything while you're still around. If you build it with 2 drums and 2 pumps, you can mix your nutes in one and alternate the timers

Just a few weeks ago I had a batch of 6 plants I was vegging and decided not to grow them because they were clone of a strain that wasn't competing with my other top shelfers. I decided to let them sit there in the mostly dark. It took 6 days for them to wilt. I then killed them. But 2 weeks you'd be better off leaving the lights on dude. I'd be more trusting in an led driver than a hid ballast
