i was just reading about grafting and i was wondering has anyone ever tried it? according to what i read it would be better to just take a clone and graft it to a rootball and it will grow faster. it seems like you could just keep using the roots over and over and just grafting cuttngs to them over and over with faster growth than cloning. anyone ever try it before?

Ive seen this grafting technique done on youtube at amsterdam marijuana college guy had about 4 plants grafted to 1 plant each different strains on each branch he said he did it because he is only allowed to grow so many plants with grafting he can grow 3-4 different strains off one plant very interesting I might try it one day .......

Hmm....I like the idea of that, too. It's not something I plan to try anytime soon, BUT, you can bet your ass that I won't forget about it.

reading about it doing tomatoes and such. it makes it possible to take a brach off a mother plant yes a brach since what i have read it needs to be roughly the same size of your stump. they have the correct names in the article. and graft them together and in roughly 7 days of healing they are now 1. so instead of cloning and waiting a week for roots. just to plant it. we have a entirely new plant that we can flower right away. maybe i am reading into to easily. i think i am going to do some more research and see what it takes. the point of grafting though is that you have the streght of one plants root system and the fruiting or flowering of the other. so you can use different strains doing this. taking the roots of a northern lights and flowering a widow. well off to the libary for some books in the morning

here is my thoughts if grafting works this wayi take my plant all the way into flowering and when the buds are ready i can trim them off and leave the branchs on the stock. and then graft my cuttings from another plant onto that fully mature root stock and continue to flower after the graft heals. from what i read it takes the same time for a graft to heal as it does for a clone to root. i think i might have to give it a try. the only thing i can think of is will not be able to let the bud finsh on the stock root. not sure going to try many things just for the sience of it
