Let that thing drain. You're drowning it. Poke holes in the bottom.. if you did.. they ain't big enough.

Way over watered.

its your light causing it and too wet a soil mix. try watering less and you can put an agrigate over the soil like pearlite

scoop that outta there.. and any green growth you see in the soil. and give it a top dress of new soil.. just don't compact it. Make an ant hill up the stem if need be.

Better drainage needed yes. Or are they sitting in stagnant runoff? Try a horticulture grade hydrogen peroxide. Will also super boost your oxygen

If you're keeping it damp it's normal, my capillary does it and it's never been waterd, make some plastic lids for your pot/s they help with rh% and you get roots right to the top instead of them dying through drying lol.

The top layer should always dry before watering to confirm capillary action has stopped and soil water percentage has dropped to low enough levels. This is one way to judge water content in soil without having to guess.
