Green o Matic Green House Seed co Auto Blueberry Dutch Passion Sun Systems 150w hps

these are some pictures of a grow i did its just a small one had 1 green o matic and 1 auto blueberry growing in a dresser this grow was low on funds and made the mistake of buying miracle grow soil ill never do that again but it turned out pretty nice regardless im using dutch nutrient formula gro and bloom nutrients and ph adjusted water other then that its as low tech as you can get i used the sun systems 150w hps and on the side of the auto blue berry i had 4 four foot cfl tubes because the auto blueberry was almost a metre tall and the 150w light isent sufficient for tall plants so the cfls help beef up the lower buds. anyways enjoys these they were shot with a nice camera it had a micro setting and a really nice lens that auto focused.

I used miracle grow soil last year and didn't have any problems. I also use Kelloggs, but miracle grow soil was on sale last year for $2.50 a bag. I'm sticking with Kelloggs.

yeah i dont no usually id use better stuff but this grow i had like no money and i just bought the new light the sun systems 150w hps and my friend gave me a hole bunch of seeds cause he works at a seed shop so i figured for my first grow id try to just get like a base line like worst case senario what i could pull of yeild wise now that im certain that even in less perfect conditions that light works pretty well i feel better investing more money in the other stuff i might even get a rockwell hydro set up for next time definatly gonna get a bloom booster and my next grow im gonna start exsperimenting with LST training i used to use the tie down technique when i had ops outdoor think im gonna try something similar to that next grow but i meen im really impressed with the green o matic without barely any maintenances and its buds everywhere imagen if i had a good soiless medium and some bud buster formula and wrapped the closet in Mylar but i meen trial and error is the name of the game if i listened to alot of books ive read which say dont even bother growing in miracle grow soil i wouldent have a nice couple ounces of bud i think in the cannabis world people are too anal about growing methods they all act lik there way is the best and every other way isent worh shit in my opinion a shitty grow is better then no grow because atleast you will learn what not to do and maybe youll get a couple joints out of it and whats so bad about that!

some on this forum don't like greenhouse seeds, or miracle grow. I've had luck with GHS and miracle grow. Does the job

i dont no how anyone who grew up smoking weed in the 90's could hate on greenhouse seed company what about white widow and great white shark those are two of the most widely used indica dominate strains in the world i was smoking greenhouse strains befor i even knew what green house seed company was but i guess to each there own i feel cannabis is a amazing plant and any company trying to diversify and catalog a number of strains or who are recovering special rare land race strains are good in my books but cannabis is weird like that like auto blueberry from dutch passion some say its horrible strain to grow and that no two plants will look the same other swear by it as the best auto to grow i can tell you from doing a direct comparison in identical conditions i would say altho the auto blueberry grew bigger then the green o matic its clear the the green o matic has strong genetics the buds formed nice the side colas are uniform i never had one problem with them where the auto on serveral occations they started to get damaged from nutrient burn and i had them out but all together its a pretty good plant too on my next grow im gonna do all green o matic tho its a smaller plant but its gonna yeild more

I grew GHS great while shark last year - pretty good stuff.

I also grew while rino and lemon skunk. The lemon skunk out grew the green house, with a lot of good buds.

I'm trying GHS train wreck this year.

UPDATE: my friend that has the really nice camera is out of town so i had to resort to using a camera phone the pics turned out pretty good tho. i had to get some pics now because the green o matic is getting close i was planing on doing the shots on tuesday then taking them down after but i doubt the green o matic will take any longer then a couple of days to finish. the auto blueberry still has enough time tho they were both planted in the soil on november 17th so its been 62 days since i put them in the soil and i gotta say they have so far exceeded my expectations.

i believe these were taken three days before the harvest.

these pics where taken after i took i chopped her down. i apologize for the quality of the photos next week i will get a better camera and i will show updates of the autoblueberry im just posting this to show people that even with small lights you can get nice size colas without the huge energy bills this hole grow was done on a budget of less then 180$ in questionable conditions and despite all the odds turned out pretty nice this is my first indoor grow ive ever done hope you enjoy the pics and seeing this inspires you to grow some of your own 180$ and two months this plant is gonna yield a little over an ounce and my autoblueberry will be closer to 2 ounces that one will finnish after 10 weeks thats all it takes for the most part i used tape water and very little fertilizer nothing special hell one of the best outdoor crops i ever did i used the 10 dollar tomato fertilizer from home depo the worst thing you can do for beginners is make it look complicated in truth growing cannabis in soil takes only a little more attention then an average houseplant to get decent results obviously as i go on i will experiment with better fertilizer and bud boosters and whatever but for my first go i wanted to go more natural just to get a base line to see whats possible and believe me if i can do this you can too. and the best part about that 180$ investment is that majority of that was on the lights which i will use over and over and over again so when you think it about it after two months its already payed for it self an from now in every bit harvest is extra sorry had to rant for alittle bit but your getting alot of pic's out of me so deal with it.

Very nice. I was doing research on whether or not I should get green-o-matic seeds and this definitely convinced me, it looks great. How long did they take to finish approximately?

the green o matic went from the day i planted the seed till harvest 67 days and i yeilded 29 grams off the one plant the auto blueberry is finnished now too it took alittle longer 11 week from seed and i yeilded 31 grams off the auto bluberry so together i got 60 grams of bud off the two auto flower plants under a 150W light in miracle grow soil with added minimal fertilizer not bad eh?? sorry it took so long for me to reply i post all my stuff on strainhunters forum now because i just starting as a seed tester for greenhouse im currently starting a test grow of there new strain auto bomb which is a green o matic big bang auto cross so im really excited to try out a larger batch of this stuff you can check out my progess here http://www.strainhunters.com/forums/topic/3370-greenomatic87-auto-bomb-test/

I got a few Auto Trans Siberian in route.
But I must decide on my lighting. Im building a 2x3x 5 (aprox)_cabiet. I would like the 150w hps or higher system, but becuase of acessability
I must be really careful of heat (it will take about 5 mins every time i open my hidding cab). So heres the real question I have, do these lights get so hot
they could start a wooden cab on fire? or would you go with cfls. also you said you used miracle grow, is that the 15 5 5mix? I
agree its easy to get overwhelmed with all the info out there and maybe im making to big of a deal out of growing a weed.

i have the htgsupply ballast and light combo and it does not get hot enough to start any kind of fires aslong as you have a inch or two from it touching anything im using it in a closet with covers covering the closet and it does not get hot enought to start a fire but im pretty sure on rare occasion and someone dumb mishaps it happened before but it should be very unlikey on a 150hps unless you literlly put some tissues on top of the light lol anyway good luck.....that gom looked pretty good but that blueberyy looked a bit stretched correct me if im wrong???
