Hi All,
This is my fourth grow. In past I have had great sucess in soil methods now its time to go to aeroponics. In soil I have tried SOG, SCROG and full plant grows, all of them have been sucessfull. Many thanks go out to all the people that helped me get to where I am today. Anyways...........
My Vegetative room consists of 5 DIY Ez-cloner tubs. each one has two airstones mounted on a 2" piece of potable water pvc, secured with aquarium silicone.
Each. tub has 40- 2" net pots, making a total of 200 plants.
I use these tubs for vegetative growth of about 3 weeks. I clone into rockwool cubes in seedling trays with humidity domes. When clones have rooted the are put into the vegetative tubs for the three week period under a mix of one dual fl. 40w ballast (one cool, one warm white bulb) and 8 -27w cfls that produce 1750 lpsf. Cfls do great things when used properly in veg and flowering. Thats atotally different thread though.lol.
For Flowering I have developed a replica to the Aquamist systems (used in SeemoreBuds video grow) after a whole lot of searching and testing I have designed a wonderful system that costs around $100.00 per system. Built and tested, works wonderful. The one I constructed has 200 plants in 2" net pots in 4 seperate tubs. Therefore there are 50 plants per tub. The entire flowering system uses only a 4x8 area (32sq.ft.). The flowers are under 1200 watts of hps, (three 400 watt bulbs) for a total of 150,000 lumens. works out to be over 4600 lpsf. more than adequate.
All of my design and material info will be available when I have time to post and write the step by step with pics. This is by far the easiest and most productive I have seen or used.
Part of the reason I am seeing very high quality and yield is due to the fact I have changed over to Connoisseur bloom nutrients, far superior to GH's 3 part.
This system has proven its self by yielding on average of 6 pounds every two months using a strain that is rated to yeild around the 500 grams/m2 in SOG. Seriously.
This round I am going with Federation Seeds Cotton Candy. cross between Kush and a Haze, Should be wild.
I will keep you posted. I think I am going to give it a seperate thread because it is a rare strain, ( in regard to the amount of people that share thier grow info on it). I will have this thread regarding Aeroponics and DIY. I have frankensteined alot of grow hardware, so if you are having trouble building or finding something give me a shout, chances are I can help.
My Attached Are previous pics of soil grows . Some nice strains. Enjoy!
Feel free to ask questions I love to share my experiences with all.
