Grinding trim

What would you use to grind up a bunch of trim? More than a handheld grinders worth...

* Last time I tried a coffee grinder, got it waay too fine, so vegetable matter made it through the screens. Would a blender or food processor do an ok job VS the coffee grinder? Would they overheat possibly?

* Any good ideas for the best/fast way to get it ground up into a coarse flour?

A sharp knife.

I just use a hand grinder with a pollen catcher. I dry up the trim, freeze it, grind it and rub it over the screen.

Looking for alternatives to handheld grinder and scissors, as this would take a loooong time.
