Grow #1 Aero System

First Aerogrow using Stinkbuds DIY System w/ a few slight mods.. Have been running soil grows w/ decent results but after doing lots of research on the aerogrows in the forums I decided to invest the money in switching over.

Currently using 3 Stage Jungle Juice by Advanced Nutrients .. had good results and never had a reason to change.. but open to ideas w good results.

My current setups...
Clones - 3days (2ft x 2.5ft shelf): Straight Water PH 5.4
2ft x 2 bulb T-5 w/ Aquarium Plant Growth bulbs (Timed 24hr On)
25site DIY Aero Cloner (Timed 15m On 45m Off) 24 GrapeFruit Diesel



Veg - week 2 (2ft x 4.5ft Closet w/ Mylar) PPM 1300-1500 PH 5.4/5.6
4ft x 8 bulb T-5 w/ 6.4k bulbs (Timed 18/6)
1 12 plant Stinkbud Aero Veg Unit (Timed 15m On 45m Off) 12 Sage n Sour plants
Currently have 10 plants in Soil under half the light.. soon to replace w another Aero Unit




Flower (4ft x 8ft Grow Tent)
2 600w Sun Pulse 3k MH bulbs (6" vented hoods w/ 8" Hydrofarm Inline Fan)
1 Stinkbud Modified Veg Unit (Timed 15m On 45m Off) Pics soon... 24 Site
CanFilter w/ 6" Hydrofarm Inline Fan




Mothers (3ft x 3ft Grow Tent)
2ft x 8 bulbs T-5 w/ 6.4k bulbs (Timed 18/6)
Soil plants atm... Looking for input on good Aero builds for 2-4 Mothers and suggestions on seeds that work well for aero grows!
(Strains: Sage n Sour, GrapeFruit Diesel, Critical Sensi Star)

Still working on setting everything up completely but pictures will be posted as soon as the lights kick back on for the day.. Really looking for input and help as the crops progress!

So my first question.. for my veg roots can I cut them down? They are starting to fall into the Res .. doesnt bother me too much but dont think they will fit well in the Flower racks when I need to move them over..

i also run modified rail systems and aero veg and cloner. good job so far. on roots, yes you can cut, but try not to. bigger roots= bigger fruits. i pull my plants up every 3-4 days to prevent tanling and going in drain hose. much less stress on the plants, especially when transferring to flower. check my thread, my 3 stages of flower, in hydro section. i have some good mods that may give you some ideas.

Thanks for dropping in superstoner, I checked out your systems and I must say looks very nice! As far as the grow goes.. no major updates.. 4 Grapefruit Diesel clones popped out first little roots.. Sage n Sour in the Veg unit are growing incredibly fast, roughly an inch every day-ish, Wondering how tall most people allow their babies to grow before transfering to Flower? Normally in my soil grows I go about 20-22 inches, but with rate of growth being so high Im a little worried if wait to long Ill have 6ft plants that dont fit in my tents..

oo almost forgot.. did some searching last night on cool mods for DIY systems and found a few I plan on trying out this weekend... PICS SOON!

Ok so been a while since I have had time to take pictures but here goes..

Clones: Added simple water level meter
Grapefruit Diesel all started to root been 11 days, still running PPM 0 PH 5.4-6

Veg: Siliconed in a check valve to run a small airstone in res as well as added a simple water meter to the res.
Sage n Sour still growing like crazy.. LOVE Aero atm!.. starting a flush to prepare them for Flower PPM 300-500 PH 5.4-6

Flower: Finally finished setting up the flower unit.. siliconed in 2 air lines and a ball joint valve to drain/water test. Just waiting on my 2 flower bulbs to arrive so I can transfer my Sage n Sour's over!
