Grow buddy screwed me

The grow buddy software just screwed me! Was using it since March, kept up on updates, never had any issues. Yesterday there was another update, which I ran just before recording my details of the day's watering. Well, when I went to select the crops for entering data they all somehow reverted to several weeks earlier! I have an idea of what week/day I was at last, but now all my data is garbage as I don't have the past few weeks any longer. Luckily for me I was tracking some data on a whiteboard in the room, which is all I'm going to use in the future!
I saw no way to restore or backup data within the software. Regardless, it can not be trusted. I'm just recording data that will be erased at each watering. Safer anyway as it can easily be destroyed should the need arise.

Hmm technology, go figure.

Why I keep things logged in a note book and calendar. We as a society have become very dependant on electronics. I'd be lost with out my phone and Internet.
