Grow lamp question

For the first time I am growing under lights indoors using a home made grow room (based on a four tier mini green house).

I am using a "Envirolite" 6400 k (blue) to start vegging , I know that you can get bulbs with a different rating (red) for the flowering stage, my question is this, given that these things are damned expensive do i rearly need two lamps, a blue and a red or will I get adequit results with just my one?

I use the t-5 set up for veg, it works great. So I say stay with your veg light for vegging.

You don't NEED one, you would get better results with the right spectrum........

back in the day thas all they had was the mh and the buds were good back then. but the reds for flower is a lot better
