grow leds

fellas long time no post anyway about to start up again what have you heard about LED GROWLIGHTS? i've found some stuff but i need experienced opinions and do you have any links?????

i'm curious to hear about them also. It will be awhile before my HID lights get replaced but when they do, I'd like to know which direction to go in.

In my opinion, if you are going through the effort to grow, you might as well ensure a great product, by using proven technology. The LED technology for horticultural applications have not matured to the point where people like us should be using them. The cost of our product is too high.

Will your plants grow, yes. Will they grow well, yes. Will they create a product that is comparable to an HPS grow, no.

If you're into experimentation and innovation, then go for it. But if you are into great marijuana, then don't use LEDs to grow.

If you have an interest in high tech lighting....do some research on Plasma lighting. I think it's the best alternative to LED.
