actually this would be my first indoor grow.. i have a little walk-in closet with one plant, and i have 3 cfl lights.. more then 45 watts each.. how many lights should i use for just my one plant which is 2 weeks in.. and how far away should the lights be from my plant.. and my last question is how much light should my plant take-in just the growing process is it 12 hours on or more??

you want the lights between 2-4 inches away from the plant, the more light the faster the plant will grow, it should be enough for now but i would get a few more cfls, try to get a miture of 2700k cfls and 6500k clfs you will need the 2700k cfls when it comes to flowering the plant.

cfl lights dont release enough lumens which is a major factor in producing buds
if that is the only thing you have it might take a while or the yield will be very low
but they can be very close because clfs as before do not project so many lumens
a few inches at best
and for beginning stages probably 18 hours of light 6 of night is a good standard
some use 24 hours every day....this might be better for you because of the cfls

good luck with your grow

ok thanks for the info.. and i just read a post bout cfl lights i guess i had them all mixed up.. i wasn't looking at the watts the highest i have is 29 watts each but it says its equal to 150 watts.. what if i put two lights with 29 watts each in which the label says it equals 150 watts, would it be enough just for the beginning grow phase of growing til i get stronger lights..
