grow log easy way to get busted?

hi people, was thinking of starting a jounal for my first grow, but this news article got me anxious about doing so http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2290937.ece
i mean if i advertise that im growing bud online wouldnt that warrent a search from the police, and therefore get me busted. but because im a newb i dont think i would be succsessful in my grow without the knowledge and help from people on here. just worried. thanks.

your ok man. just dont put up anything in a pic that could tell someone who you are. if you arent even a successful grower i think your really safe lol.

yeah lol i mean its not like im going to be growing a large amount of it, dont think police are really concerned about people growing it for personal use, they probably relise that im helping to put the big dealers out of buissness by not buying off them if that makes sense so im helping the police

if your paranoid, just speak of it as your "friends" grow.

I believe that law enforcement officers generally have to follow something like this:

not that i have heard of, at least no where that i am aware of. police get info all the time posing to be someone or something they aren't. thats how they nab dealers in the bars. to me you have to be stupid to sell to a total stranger but a lot of dealers do. i have known a guy or two that got busted by an undercover and he made him swear he wasn't law enforcement and the cop swore to it. bought the dope and busted the guy on the spot lol. gettting back to the op topic though. i have known police in my area to use myspace profiles to befriend people. if they find pics of plants, pics of the people smoking weed at a party, etc , YES THEY GET BUSTED. that is because myspace identifies who you are and the city you live in if you are honest. something like a grow journal here i would think to be safe as long as you dont post a pic of you, a unique ass pet, things like that that can tie YOU to the grow. if a cop just stumbles or even looks through the grow journals they couldnt pin point your location. i would think not at least.
