built a box with standard 2x4's and panelboard
got the entire inside sealed air tite with wiid glue and caulk covered completly in panda film.
both exhaust hole are sealed and the light intake and exhaust are clamped on dryer tubes
the room exhaust is an 80cfm fan hooked up to a diy carbon filter took a 8"to 4" reducer gorilla glued aluminum fencing around did the same to an 8" to 6" reducer
put em together sealed them together and filled the space with active charcoal and sealed the top on it
passive intake on the box with a dryer flap so when fans not running air isnt coming in

room fan is set to a thermostat to turn fans on when room gets too hot
all holes have screen across them to keep pests out

box is 60" tall x 28"w x 26" d

have a 400w Mh/hps light with sealed air cooled hood
a 80 cfm exhaust inline fan on light, passive intake. exausted to attic no carbon filter
the timer that controles the lights also controls the fan so that when the light is off the fan isnt running

all electrical hookups and apliances are wired to a power supply strip outside the box the grow box has its own circut breaker so no need to worry about popping the breaker

im using a bubbleponics system with hydroton rock and rockwool and twho seperate resivoirs that has o toilet systemso when the botom resivoir gets the the top one fills it back up this alows me to get the nutrients and ph right before it is allowed to affect the plant it is a 4 plant system the plants will have aproximately 36 1/2" to grow and also keep a 12" space between the plants and the lights

im not sure at how tall to send into flower and its an indica strain

i think i did a good job but constructive critisizm is welcome thanks everyone

sounds pretty nice can u put up some pics one thing i would do is have some sort of fan on all the time building stem strengh and air flow if u dont already

sounds good - i second jmac - keep the fans on 24 x 7. With no carbon filter, the attic will get smelly. If the smell doesn't matter: cool. Otherwise, I'd look into getting some kind of odor control ready. With 3 feet of grow room, i'd start flowering at around 12 inches cause they can double or even triple in size once you switch to 12/12.

indicas or indica-heavy hybrids do tend to be shorter/bushier than sativa.

wish i had a digi camera toshow you pics would be a lot easier than explaing everything and the light exhaust is going to the attic the actual room exhaust is carbon filtered and flowing back into my room

would just a small wall fan be allright to build stems stronger

i think i get what you're doing - sounds like it will work fine. a small fan works great for helping circulate air.
