grow room help

so I'm wanting to run 6 plants in flower and 6 plants in veg SOG style

I would like to know the optimal light wattage for veg room and flower room, grow room space for both, and how big of a carbon filter I would need.

I'm looking for a perpetual style grow here, any input is appreciated! Thanks!

50 Watts per sqft is optimal

You mean Scrog? SOG is many many plants with almost no veg time.

With 6 plants scrogged you could fill like a 5x5 tent and use a 1000w HPS for flower while vegging another 5x5 tent with 600w mh , nothing stopping you using more wattage in veg.
With the same total number of plants you could veg 4 at a time in 4x4 tents and have 3 tents with 3x 600w lights and stagger them to have a harvest more often. Like a crop every 5.3 weeks.

The size of your filter will depend on the size of your fan and that will depend on your local climate and how many time an hour you need to exchange air to keep the desired temperature in range for the light you choose.

It may be best to decide what space you want to use, then you can know how much light you need and from there can work out your exchange, fan and filter needs.

Well if you want to scrog then 6 plants would be a bit much for me in a 4x4 so I would go with a 5x5 and a 1000w hps or double ended 630w cmh. If you go with HPS then a 1000w mh bulb for veg or a dimmable 1000w that dims to 600 for veg. More light is nice but you don't need 1000w for veg in a 5x5 space.

As far as fans go, here is a chart that shows to some degree how much airflow is needed to maintain a certain degree above your ambient air (the air temp in house of from outside where your new air comes from)

You can use one 1000W CMH grow light if you have a high ceiling and 240V power

6 properly SCROG'd plants will require some space.... bump it up to 8 plants.. Get a 4x8 tent, 6"/8" exhaust fan/filter, & (2, or more) lights of your choice (mh/hps, cob, led, cmh, t5 etc). Easy.

Once that is all sorted -
Then you get to the fun stuff
