Grow Room is Hot

Hello all,
Just moved to a new house. I have decided to give a window unit a try to cool my room. I’m not happy about the window unit as the window faces the front of the house. A mini split is not in the cards right now and I’ve read that portables suck. Tents are venting into the room and it’s hot! Venting to the attic vents is also not an option. Can anyone recommend a window unit and size to cool it down in here.
-Room size 150sq ft. +-
-2 tents and a cfl box: a 3x3 with 315 cmh and a 5x5 with 2 315 cmh and 3 HLG qb96’s. 200 watt cfl small supercloset. Thank you!

Calculate the total watts in the room and multiply by 3.41btu/watt

315 cmh Each = 350wx3.41= 1193.5btu
200CFL each = 200x3.41= 682 btu
QB 96 at max power each = 224x3.41 = 763btu

Any fan, dehumidifer etc anything that uses electricity needs it's watts accounted for the same way.

I use a 8000 btu portable ac unit and have a fan 5 ft in front of it pointing at the tent with any vents open and tent cracked enough to let cool air in. I stay at 80 degrees or under'

I’ve got a “portable” ac but i had to customize an exhaust port by covering the window with a piece of plywood with a cutout fixture with the pastic ac vent hose port screwed to the plylood covering the window. On the outside of the plywood facing the outside of the house I attached a piece of curtain covering the plywood so it sort of looks like a normal window with a curtain but you can still see the vent. If you wanted it to look real “clean” you could layer curtains on the outside with a vertical vent in between them, although I’ve never done this.
Portable acs totally suck tho if you’re not in a dry climate you need to elevate it and drain into a bucket or attach a drain pipe.

Facts are those cmh run hot. I used to swap the leds for cmh during the winter because of it. Are all the hoods air cooled? I had 2 of the older non air cooled ones with the ballast in the hood and one with the detached ballast and cooled hood and the heat from the older ones would fuk things up on occasion. On hot days the tent would go 85-87 unless they were completely left open. No Bueno
