Whats up everyone. I just wanted to go over my grow room plan and see if anyone had some thoughts or input if you would arrange lights differently or arrange things differently making my spacing more efficent. This my third grow, first grow was a small closet 400w hps and I did a few plants outside this year and each have been successful. In this grow i have 17 plants thats are about to be harvested in a few weeks but the overall plan for the next few months is to get a perpetual going. Currently the flower room has a 1000w mh in a cooltube and 400w hps in an aircooled hood, and the veg room has 2 T12 fixtures. Im using a Phresh carbon filter with a 400cfm inline fan for exhaust and another 400cfm inline for the intake in the flowering room but also serves as the exhaust for the veg room and the intake for veg is a 250cfm fan. So heres the plan for the next week.
Mother/Clone Room: 3' x 5' x 5', T5 fixture, 4-8 mothers, cloner
Veg Room: 4' x 8' x 7', 400w hps on a light mover
Flower Room: 4' x 8' x 7', 600hps-1000mh-600hps, all in cooltubes so temp shouldnt be a problem
My question is would a 400w hps on a light mover be enough light for a healthy veg area and would a hps-mh-hps mixture produce a good quality spectrum or should I put the 1000w mh in the veg and put the 400hps back in the flower room.
Nutrients are also the fox farms trio with some oragnic teas we make and growing medium is fox farms happy frog.
