Grow room-What will I need

Hello,
I'm a newbie with growing, so I need your advice what equipment do I need.
We have already planted 2 seeds just for experiment and we don't really have any serious equipments, but we will expand as soon as this two will grow.
So here's the thing we want to grow 10 marihuana seeds(http://www.weedworld.co.uk/barneys-farm-l.s.d.-feminised-cannabis-seeds.html) and I wan't to know what do I need
(how many lights,airflow,filters,...).
I need to know how to setup all these things too, so feel free to post any tutorials from Youtube or any other site.
I need to know if those seeds are good too, if anyone have experience with this strain and what effect it has, how much weed can I get from it.

Sorry for my bad English. As I said I'm really doing it for the first time.

The first thing to do is decide on where it will be?

Are you building something?

Do you have a closet in your house you can convert?

Do you fancy a tent?

How many plants do you want to grow?

For 10 plants I would recommend using either 2x600w or 2x1000w hps lighting systems.

This means you would need around an 8ftx4ft floor space.


Do you have that amount of space available to you?

google how to grow marijuana by Ed Rosinthal.. good luck.. seems like you would look it up befor growing and i am sure people here can help but your asking for someone to do everything but grow it in there house for you.. do your own searching and trial by error with bag seed is the best way to learn how to NOT screw up high dollar seeds..

When I start a new grow-op I start my seedlings out asap on 12/12. This will still allow me to take a snip off each seedling and if the seedling works out I'll keep its clone as a mom. These snips may prove difficult but a single layer of gravel in the cloning bin seems to solve the problems. Clones taken from a cloned mother will root out the sides of the rockwool cubes, where clones taken from a seedplant will send its roots out the bottom of the rockwool cube. I color code with colored thumbtacks. I use about 300+ watts of daylight flouro 24hr and 150-300w's MV/MH HID 18/6 prior to cloning.

Two independant 15amp outlets

so fuse can remain the same I must only get 15amp outlets?

I think the biggest starting question about electrics is.

What country do you come from?

USA and UK electrics for example are very different.


If we know the country you come from it may help to advise you more.

Because in the UK we don't have to run dedicated breakers for grow rooms due to horticultural lighting Contactors. These are relays in effect.

You know...If you're not worried about a high electric bill, then MH & HPS are deffinitly the way to go, but if you're like me, and living on a budget, you can grow some pretty amazing stuff w/CFLs...For the cost of 2-600w HPS, (not only in initial cost, but less elecricity) I can run a nursery & veg room(together)...and a flowering room...and not even use 1200w...just a thought..

Is the harvest good?
How much can I get with CFLs from 10plants of the LSD strain(aprox).

I run a 1000w hps/8plant in a 5x3 space....next to it is a 600w hps/6 plant.
there is a marked difference in groth rate.
bye the way..the cost of voltage only adds up to 15% of plant value?

hey man if you wanna do an 8oz or less MG grow, not that i use or like using miracle grow, try seemorebuds' book "buds for less" . he builds a special fixture which allows him to wrap cfl's around his 3 plant grow, which he does for 100$ (or less) . this could be done in your size space and then when you upgrade to HPS, you can use your cfl bulbs to vegetate with in a seperate chamber, and rotate crops
edit: I think the author does a great job on using what he has to its maximum potential and even if you arent using cfl's, it is just a great read. He teaches how you rebalance the MG's high ph with a low nute dose and rechecking the runoff, and helps you understand PH in soil. also the way he positions his lights in there is great. basically everything about it is great. a buddy of mine did exactly what he did and got ~4oz of some bud that wasn't the tastiest (miracle grow ) but it sure was healthy and produced alot.

actually 1 15amp will run 2 600 no problem but thats it I believe a 600 only uses like 6amps

I think I will use fluorescent lamps for growing.

Are fluorescent lamps good for growing weed?
If yes How much of this lights will I need for 10plants if every of lights are 1m long
