Evening again everyone,
Planning ahead for my next upgrade in a few months.
Going to try and switch from a seed and soil grow to a soil mother and ebb/flow for clones.
My plan is to have three tents.
First will be my mother/cloner tent. Since I plan on having 2 mothers I should still have room with a cloner bucket. Since it is all veg stage, I can keep the same lights.
The second tent is where I would have a ebb/flow. Using a simple diy system with rubbermaid containers. With the diy setup they are stacked on top of each other with 4 pots.
Idea would be to veg in this 2nd tent for about a month or when it got about 1.5-2 feet tall.
Once height was reached, move whole thing into bigger tent with flowering lights set at 12/12.
The idea is to have a continuous grow since flowering will take longer then veg. I can add more groups to the flowering tent as needed.
As of now, my question is that while I can do 4 pots per group, they are only 6 inch pots vs the suggested 8 inch pots. Below is a pic from the diy article.
I know smaller pots constrain the plant, but is 2 dry oz per plant possible with 6 inch pots with ebb/flow system?
Thanks again for your help.
