Grow tent 100 F! 34 C!

Hey Guys,

See the attached picture, I've done everything i've supposed to do, and the temp won't drop, the damn 600WHPS is ridiculously hot. not sure what else I can do besides sticking a air conditioner in there as well. any cheap ideas guys?

You may need to change lights to a T5 system or take it outside if you can't get the temps down.

Air cooled hood can help. What size is that duct running to outside? Larger may help too and if you can draw your intake from a cooler area that will help.

Yeah man, time to go air-cooled. I know it's not cheap, but just about the only way, other than going with different lights. Air-cooling + drawing cool air from outside,(on a seperate line) may be able to get your temps down to where you want them.

you can try using c02

plants will still grow and be fine with temps that high as long as your using c02

they just need to breath man!!

is ur ballast anywhere near the tent, those bitches heat up like fuck, if u can move it. open windows, turn room radiators down or off, move anything thats close to the tent to allow a little air movement. its a pain in the arse mate i know , ive been there, had a grow in a room with the hot water tank in it, had temps up at 38. another common solution is to have ur lights on at nite when its cool outside and off during the day when its hot.
