Grow Tent problem

Friend of mine wanna buy a small grow tent 2.6'x2.6'x7'.Up to there there was no problem but he wanna use a 28' x 8' cooltube with will leave only about 4' to put a fan with a carbon filter :(
Can my friend use the fan and filter outside of the tent ?? or it wont be thatefficient ??

Put the filter and fan at the back of the tent at the top, above the light, and use ducting to hook it up through the light, and out of the tent. You don't need to run your filter setup attached directly to the tube.

i use a similar sized tent. I run a 4" vortex fan connected directly to a filter in the attic and have it ducted straight to my hood. Works great.

i am running a vortex 4" which is 240 cfm i believe. I am also running a intake fan which i am not sure of the CFM, but i dont think the intake fan is necessary if u are passively bringing in cool enough air. My tent is 2"x2"x6" so it is smaller than yours. I am running a 400w HPS. If you are running a bigger light than 400w u will need a bigger fan than a 4", like a 6" vortex.
