Grow tent question?!

I have my outdoor grow going well and into flowering and I'm loving everything about it. So I went ahead and bought everything I need to start myself a grow during the winter. I got a carbon filter and the whole works of things recommended, my question is do I have to run the vent that goes out of the tent out of a window or something? Or can it just pump into the room? I was planning g on growing in my basement and idk how I would be able to get a vent to go outside?? I would appreciate any answers or recommendations!!

It depends. When you vent out, you're venting hot, humid air. So if there isn't a way to cool that air down and remove the moisture, well you're just creating a humid jungle in your basement, which can lead to mold, and damage to your house as well as your crop. It's not really as simple as a yes or no answer. It really depends on your environment, how big the grow is, your method of growing eg hydro, soil. .. how big the pots are... How big the plants are ... Etc etc If you just have one or two small-med plants then the amount of moisture given off will be alot less then 10. Know what I mean
Generally, the easiest thing is to vent out of the house through a port in the wall or window, away from foot traffic (not in the front of your house or right onto a deck where you may choose to sit with company) sometimes even the best filters won't scrub out 100% of the smell and for someone with a 'clean' nose the smell is easily noticed.
Other 'heatbag' moves include venting through a wide open window. Why is there a window open in the middle of winter and why is there ice buildup all around it. I duno. Things I see when looking at peoples grows. Even though it maybe legal, discretion is my preference.

The environment is very humid in the summer but I have 2 high power dehumidifiers running now and have it sitting at 60% so if I did have it pumping out I could add another dehumidifier but that seems like alot. Maybe the two I have could keep up

Lots of power .... And more heat. Costs as much to keep the dehumidifier running as it does for a 400w hps... Generally drawing 4-5amps running 24/7. Yikes
Need to weigh your costs vs production. If it costs you more money to grow it then buy it well ...that's not good. Not to mention the strain on your power grid running so much power through it. If the coils in the dehumidifier are dirty it will draw even more power (dangerous). All things to consider.....

If I'm running all 3 rooms veg and my dehumidifier my bills around 300$ a mnth. And I'm in Ontario where power is 'cheap'
I also had a 200amp panel upgrade and wired up a 20amp GFI and 2 15amp circuits dedicated to the flower room. Every other room runs off it's own dedicated 15amp breaker.
Time to drive for hours to stand on a pier, and wash some spoons, and drive home with no sleep tmrw. Ttyl gl

Mine vent into the basement, only need the dehumidifier in humid summer.
Waste heat from tent helps in the basement.

Have fun
