Grow Tent Setup Questions!

Hey guys, i recently purchased a 32x32x64 grow tent as well as 4"inline fan with carbon filter. Im curious if anyone has this tent size with an air filter system and how they routed everything?

What type of light will you be using? I'll assume an HID with an air-cooled hood.

- Filter (at the very top of the tent)
- Fan, connected directly to filter, pulling air through the filter
- Ducting to one side of the hood to the fan
- Ducting from the other side of the hood to outside the tent (preferably to outside, or at least another room the tent is in)

If you don't have an air cooled hood, simply Filter->Fan->Outside.

When you first turn on the fan with the filter, do it outside. Some filters expel a bunch of carbon particles on first run.

There are tons of different setups you can utilize with any tent/filter/fan. I have a 32x32x64 tent and this is how mine is arranged.



Carbon filter is inside the tent. 4 inch ducting about 5 ft away to AC Infinity T4 fan and then exhausted through a few more feet of duct to a vent outside.

I do filter - fan - sealed hood - outside tent. My tent's in the garage so when it's warm late spring/early summer I vent up into the attic. When it's cold in the winter I vent out the side into the garage.
