Budget Setup:
4x2x5 tent
1200w led (248 actual watts)
2 oscillating fans + 100cfm intake & 195cfm exhaust fans
Humidifier
Region:SoCal
This is my first ever grow. I have an intake fan that’s vented from my window and is exhausted out into a separate room in my apartment. My lights are 36” above my seedlings which are almost a week old. I can’t seem to consistently get my temps below 80-85 no matter what I do. I’ve tried placing fans in different locations. I’ve tried switching light schedules but even if I have the lights off during the day my temps are in the low to mid 80s (Picture below was taken at 1am). Currently I have my lights running in the day. The only thing that’s somewhat worked so far was maxing my exhaust fan which brings it down to a consistent 80 but that lowers the rh to the low 40s. Is there any other way that I can lower my temps without having to spend 400+ on a portable ac system that costs more than my whole setup. Also while I’m here I have a watering question. I’m currently giving them 300ml of water in the mornings when lights go on via a spray bottle but when I check them before I go to bed the top 1 inch already feels dry and as light as before i watered them. Could that be cus I’m not giving them enough water or is that a light issue?
