Grow tent too small

Merry Xmas to you all.

I have a small problem, my plants are about 5-7" away from my CFL grow light, and are only in the first week of flowering, using a grow tent that 140x60x60

will I have to invest in a slightly bigger plant? someone told me that plants double in size during flowering.

Any help would be much appreciated.

slightly bigger tent u mean LOL. You may need to get a bigger one if you can. You may need to veg shorter next time or chooe a shorter strain, w/e you need to do to improve your grow next time. The firt round is always going to be a little bit of a learning experience till u get it dialed in.

For now LST the plant to keep it from getting too tall it will continue to stretch for a week or 2.

plants will at least double to triple in height in flowering. If it's sativa it can be even more. I've had sativa's grow over 4 times their height when starting them on 12/12 to flower.
